Carol Walker: Getting To Know Her
Carol Walker was about to experience another exciting milestone in her long softball career, competing in the collegiate national tournament. She should have felt pure exhilaration, but instead she was a little down. Carol’s parents weren’t making the trek from Georgia to Missouri and she was disappointed they wouldn’t be able to relish in the moment together. As Carol looked up during the championship game, she was shocked to see her father. A wave of emotion swept over her. He’d driven 14 hours nonstop to see Carol play and her eyes still well up recalling how much that meant to her. Though her team lost that day, Carol still walked off the field feeling like a winner.
Ties That Bond
While Carol developed many skills playing softball, the gift of forming meaningful, enduring relationships was the most valuable. She instantly bonded with teammates and developed even more friendships at Florida State and Kennesaw State University. The strongest, however, was forged with her parents. From her first game at age five to being named an All-American, they’ve wholeheartedly supported her. Games may only last a few hours, but Carol’s connections still carry on to this day.
Circle of Life
Life has certainly come full circle for Carol. She and her husband, Scott, now enjoy coaching their daughters, Abbey and Emma Grace, in softball. Carol knows how special it is to share in these pivotal moments and loves instilling the same lessons and values she learned all those years ago. " There is nothing better than seeing the girls improve over the course of the season," says Carol. "And watching the friendships they form remind me of how joyous that was as a young girl."
A Team Player
Carol’s knack for cementing strong relationships with her teams was always a key to success. The same holds true in her professional career. As a real estate agent, developing enduring connections are what drive her in business. The satisfaction she gets helping individuals and families with major life events keeps her striving for excellence. She places your best interest at the forefront, just like a trusted teammate would.
The Competitive Edge
As an athlete, Carol always excelled on the field because of her strong determination and competitive spirit. As an agent, nothing’s changed. She’s always looking to stay one step ahead of the fast-moving market and has created online marketing strategies that quickly and effectively showcase your home and engage buyers. For Carol, helping you achieve your goal is one ambition. Creating a lasting relationship in the long run is the other. If you’re interested in selling or investing in property in the Cobb and Paulding area, turn to Carol Walker. Friendly and courteous, she’s committed and dedicated to serving her valued clientele. Carol prides herself on Making Lasting Connections with people in helping make the most of their move.
Carol's History and Family
Carol grew up in East Cobb and moved to West Cobb when I followed my husband to his hometown of Powder Springs. I graduated from Sprayberry High School, went onto Florida State University (Go Noles!) and then came back home to attend Kennesaw State University. People wonder why I would leave Florida State for Kennesaw State, but I have two good reasons... a serious boyfriend who became my husband and a full scholarship playing fast pitch softball for the NCAA, Division II Lady Owls. |
